We invite you to visit us...

See the Pick Your Own or Camping page for more information, and do come along, bring a picnic and the family (dogs and children very welcome) and share our corner of the moor.

Did you know?
  • Blueberries freeze extremely well- they turn to little marbles which allow you to simply gather a handful - great as healthy ice-sweeties for the kids! - and good for scattering on your porridge in the morning.

  • Although our berries are completely natural, with no preservatives or chemicals, they can last up to three and a half weeks in the fridge! (unless they get eaten!)

  • Blueberries are among the highest anti-oxidant value fruits and  research studies suggest that chlorogenic acid in these berries help lower blood sugar levels and control blood-glucose levels in type-II diabetes mellitus condition.

  • We have made jam, gin, muffins, salad dressings, smoothies, ink, paint and even dyed clothes using these little magic berries!

The Keily family planted their thousands of blueberries back in 2006, after Simon realised that the wild 'wortleberries' that used to grow in abundance on the moor, were cousins of the blueberry. The farm is at high altitude, near Dunkery Beacon, and the soil is the perfect ph level for these yummy plants. This, combined with the freshest air and purest water, makes our blueberries truly special. Believing in a natural approach, the plants have been left to their own devices, cross pollinating across the nine varieties using bumblebees and butterflies, and the fields are home to all sorts of wildlife which have helped them thrive. All you need to do is come and take the delicious fruit! We now also offer a 'wild' camping experience so you can enjoy our natural world including the stars!
